Messages is a four-level course for lower-secondary students. There are six modules of two units per level, each divided into three manageable steps. Clear aims and outcomes for each step mean students can put what they learn into practice immediately. Each level of the course provides 80-90 hours of classwork with lots of recycling in regular four-page sections. Level 1 assumes students have studied English at primary school, but gives full coverage of all basic language areas. The course takes students to an intermediate level by the end of Level 4. The FREE Workbook Audio CD has now been expanded to include a wealth of fun interactive CD-ROM exercises so students can practise what they've learnt at their own pace.

A supplementary photocopiable resource for teachers, including 17 topic areas, each with three activities at different levels: elementary, intermediate and upper-intermediate. Interactive is a four level course for teenage learners from elementary to upper-intermediate levels (CEF A2-B2). The Workbook provides additional practice in the language introduced in the Student's Book. Portfolio sections offer an alternative writing activity and there is one core listening text plus additional listening practice for each unit. Vocabulary practice for every unit is extended further. 'Help yourself' boxes highlight key grammar points and offer extra language practice. A 24-page grammar section at the back of the Workbook offers a 'Grammar Reference' and 'Grammar Practice' linked to every unit of the Student's Book.
