'Uno studio in rosso', il primo romanzo scritto da Sir Arthur Conan Doyle sulle indagini del detective Sherlock Holmes (in tutto l'autore scrisse 62 fra romanzi e racconti su questo popolare investigatore) racconta l'incontro fra Holmes e il suo altrettanto celebre amico Dottor Watson.
