Few have left a deeper impression on the world of typography than Jan Tschichold (1902-74), one of the outstanding and influential designers of the 20th century. This work discusses Tschichold`s influences and the highlights of his career, including his seminal poster designs, work with Penguin Books, and creation of the classic typeface Sabon.
