Reward is the highly successful five-level general English course for adults and young adults which is now used and recommended extensively across the world. Choose the Reward series and you will have up to twelve fully-integrated components at each of the five levels. The series, written by Simon Greenall and the highly-experienced Reward author team, is now complete. It provides teachers and students with one of the most comprehensive English language teaching courses available today. Reward takes adult and young adult learners from complete beginner to upper intermediate level. The course is based on a broad and integrated multi-syllabus approach: broad in the sense that it gives obvious systematic focus to grammar and language functions, vocabulary, the four skills and sounds, but also in that it implicitly covers a variety of topics, learner training and socio-cultural competence. Each Student's Book provides a 70-hour core syllabus of forty teaching lessons and eight Progress Check lessons with each teaching lesson designed to take about 90 minutes. New language is presented through dialogues and reading texts, which are often preceded by warm-up work on new vocabulary. New grammar, functions and vocabulary are always highlighted in coloured boxes for easy reference. British English is used as the model for the grammar, spelling and pronunciation, but other varieties of English are included for listening and reading practice.

The 70-hour core syllabus in the student's book allows swift progression with its essential grammar points, systematic vocabulary and skills development, and regular progress checks. There are two resource packs at each level — a general-English pack and a business-English pack. Each contains photocopiable communicative activities which can be used to supplement the core syllabus in the student's book, revise specific language and structures, and provide variety in class. Other materials at each level are a practice book for self-study, a spiral-bound teacher's book which is interleaved with the student's book, two class cassettes and a practice-book cassette.
