Passages is a two-level, multi-skills course that takes students of English from the high-intermediate to the advanced level. The New Interchange/Passages Placement and Evaluation Package contains a placement test designed to help teachers determine which level of New Interchange or Passages is best suited to their students. It also contains midterm and final exams that assess students' mastery of materials introduced in New Interchange and mid-term and final exams that assess students' mastery of materials introduced in Passages. The Placement Test consists of an Objective Placement Test (including a listening section), a Placement Conversation, and a Placement Essay. For users' convenience, there are three versions of the Objective Placement Test. A midterm and a final exam are provided for each level of New Interchange and Passages. For users' convenience, there are two versions of each test.
