Home Maths offers a variety of fun activities for practice in basic numeracy. The teacher’s book contains a mixture of photocopiable puzzles, brain teasers and supplementary challenges. They can be used in a variety of ways: set as homework; posed as ‘problem of the week’ to be tackled alone, or in class or as extension material for pupils who finish their core work quickly in class. These activities complement those in the Home Maths pupil books. Learning objectives for all activities are pinpointed to help teachers target those areas requiring more practice.
